Open 8am-6pm
They will be available on Wednesday afternoon. If there are any last-minute alterations necessarily, and there is enough time for them to get them done, they will let you know.
Rehearsal
To make sure everything goes off without a hitch – except our getting hitched – there will be a rehearsal on Saturday afternoon. If you are a bridesmaid, groomsman, getting married, or the parents of somebody getting married, please make sure your travel plans will get you there on time.
- Morning – Brunch or Breakfast on your own. (We originally had planned to do an all-together brunch, but the timing and location for such a large group means we'd all have to wake up too early.)
- 12:30pm – Rehearsal (Meridian House, 1630 Crescent Place NW)
We have to be out of Meridian House by 1:30pm, so be prompt. No Sweeney time!
Welcome Dinner
Saturday evening will be the Welcome Dinner for the wedding party and out-of-town guests. The fiesta begins at 6:00 pm at Rosa Mexicano, located in downtown DC at 575 7th Street NW.
Q: How do I get there?
A: The restaurant is reached easily from the hotel via the Metro Red Line: Get on at Dupont Circle, and get off at Gallery Place/Verizon Center.
Q: Will there be margaritas?
A: Yes, there will be margaritas.
Q: Will there be a piñata?
A: Yes, there will be a piñata.
Wedding Day
We'll keep this space updated with more detailed timelines as we get them, but for now:
- 9:15am – Ladies arrive at the Bridal Suite
- 12:45pm – Gentlemen must be at Groom's Ready Room for photographs
- 1:15pm – Gentelmen depart for Meridian House
- 2:15pm – Ladies depart for Meridian House
- 2:30pm – Photographs
- 4:00pm – Ketubah Signing
- 5:00pm – Ceremony Begins 💍🎩
- 5:30pm – Ceremony Concludes, Cocktails Begin 🍸🍷🍺
- 10:00pm – Send Off
- 10:30pm – After-party (Urbana, in the Hotel Palomar)
